Biometric Screen Lock
Biometric screen lock adds an extra layer of protection to the app, using your device’s fingerprint or face recognition to control who can open it. It sits on top of your normal login - your session stays signed in, but the app is locked until you pass the biometric check.
Path: Side menu → Settings → Biometric screen lock
Turning it on
Enable Biometric screen lock in Settings. To switch it on you must first pass a biometric check, so the app can confirm biometrics work on your device. If biometrics aren’t available, or the check fails, the setting stays off.
How it behaves
- When you open the app, or bring it back from the background, you’re prompted to authenticate before you can see any content.
- The setting is stored on the device, so it applies to this device only.
Tip: Biometric screen lock is useful on shared or easily-misplaced devices, where you want a quick guard even though you stay logged in to your servers.
