App Layout
The app is built around three navigation elements: a bottom tab bar for the main areas, a side menu for accounts and settings, and a header with the page title and search. Knowing these makes everything else easy to find.
Bottom tab bar
The tab bar gives one-tap access to the five main areas:
| Tab | Opens |
|---|---|
| Locations | The site’s location tree - the default dashboard. See Locations dashboard. |
| Favourites | Your favourite sensors. See Favourites. |
| Video | The live camera grid. See Live camera grid. |
| Alarms | Sensors currently in alarm. See Alarms. |
| Events | The event and recordings timeline. See Events & recordings. |
The Alarms tab shows a live badge with the current number of sensors in alarm. The tab bar hides automatically on full-screen detail pages (such as fullscreen video) so those views can use the whole screen.
Side menu
Open the side menu from the header to reach everything outside the five tabs:
- Your saved accounts, with the active one highlighted, for quick switching. See Managing accounts.
- Add account, Settings, Device List, What’s New, and About.
- Logout and account deletion (with a confirmation dialog).
- The current app version, shown at the bottom.
Header
The header appears on the feature pages and provides the page title, the side-menu button, and an expandable search field used by the list pages (Events, Alarms, Devices, Video). Search resets when you leave a page. See Filtering & search.
