Introduction
The Supracontrol Mobile Application is an enterprise app for monitoring and managing physical security and building infrastructure from a phone or tablet. From a single app you can watch live cameras, review recorded video, respond to alarms, check sensors, browse locations, and inspect the hardware installed on a site.
The app connects to one or more Supracontrol servers - each typically a customer site - and presents their data in real time. A single device can hold several accounts across different servers and switch between them without logging out.
Who uses it
Security operators, facility managers, and technicians who need an at-a-glance view of a site’s cameras, sensors, and alarms while away from the control room - plus the ability to act on what they see, such as acknowledging alarms, operating doors and locks, and downloading video evidence.
How the pieces fit together
When the app starts it loads your saved servers and accounts, restores the last session, fetches your profile and preferences, and opens your chosen default page. From there:
- The bottom tab bar gives access to the five main areas - Locations, Favourites, Video, Alarms, and Events.
- The side menu provides account switching, the device list, settings, What’s New, and the about and legal pages.
Each area talks to the server through a shared connection that keeps your session secure and your data fresh, so what you see stays current as you move around the app.
