Alarms

The Alarms page lists every sensor currently in an alarm state, so operators can focus on what needs attention. It draws on the same sensor data as the Locations and Favourites pages, filtered down to active alarms.

How alarm state is decided

Alarm evaluation is aware of sensor type:

Composite sensors - such as access-control doors that contain locks, readers, and other child sensors - are considered in alarm if any relevant child is in alarm.
Certain access-related child types (buttons, presence, lock-sense, readers) are intentionally ignored when deciding alarm state, to avoid noise.

The page also computes a total alarm count, which drives the badge on the Alarms tab in the bottom navigation.

Filtering

A quick toggle restricts the list to only those sensors currently in alarm. You can also search and filter by sensor type and location using the shared toolbar - see Filtering & search. A count shows how many sensors are displayed versus the total.

Live updates

Sensor data refreshes continuously while the page is open, so alarms appear and clear in near real time. Tapping a card opens that sensor’s detail view - see Sensor detail views.
