Locations Dashboard
The Locations page is the app’s default dashboard. It presents the site as a tree of locations - for example building → floor → room - and shows the cameras and sensors that belong to each one, so you can navigate a site by place rather than by device.
Path: Bottom tab bar → Locations
What you see
- An expandable, collapsible tree of locations.
- For each location, its cameras and sensors with status indicators.
- Controls to expand all, collapse all, and search the tree by name.
To keep the view clean, the dashboard only shows locations that actually contain visible cameras or sensors - empty branches are hidden.
Drilling in
From a location you can open:
- Its cameras - a live view scoped to that location. See Live camera grid.
- Its sensors - a sensor list scoped to that location. See Sensors overview.
From there you can open an individual camera or sensor detail view.
Live updates
Sensor and camera status refreshes continuously while the page is open, so alarms appearing or clearing and devices going offline show up without a manual refresh. Refreshing pauses when the app is backgrounded and resumes when you return. Switching server or user rebuilds the tree for the new context.
