Introduction

The controller web interface is a configuration UI served directly from a Supracontrol controller’s firmware. Browse to the controller’s IP address and it presents a full commissioning tool - dashboard, network, GPIO, BUS devices, readers, locks, and firmware maintenance - with no software to install and no cloud account required.

What it is for

This is the interface an installer uses to commission hardware on site, before the controller is ever enrolled into the Supracontrol Enterprise cloud platform. It sets the controller’s network identity, wires up its inputs and outputs, and links it to the cloud service.

It is distinct from the controller pages inside the Enterprise platform: those manage a controller after it has joined the cloud. This interface runs on the device itself and stays reachable on the local network whether or not the cloud is available.

One interface, the whole controller range

A single firmware image ships to the entire Supracontrol controller range and adapts at runtime to the model it is running on. The interface reads the controller’s type when it loads and adjusts which menu items appear - for example, the Card Reader and Lock pages show only on models with access-control hardware.

Note: The interface is served from the device firmware, so its version follows the controller’s firmware version - not the Supracontrol Enterprise platform version.
