Global rules
A global rule is evaluated on the Supracontrol server and scoped to one business unit. It can combine sensors, alarms, and schedules from anywhere in that business unit, set outputs on any device, and - uniquely - notify people by email, SMS, or voice call.
The rules table
Default columns are Status and Name; the table can also show Description, Created on, and Created by.
Creating a global rule
Click New in the toolbar to open the full-screen form.
General - name, description, and business unit
Enter a Name and Description (both required, minimum 2 characters). The Business Unit determines which locations, devices, and alarms can be referenced in conditions and actions:
- A global administrator picks the business unit from a dropdown.
- A business-unit administrator is locked to their own business unit - no dropdown is shown.
Conditions - at least one is required

| Schedule | Choose an existing schedule or create a new one inline; the rule is only active inside the schedule window |

| Notification | Pick the Media (Mail, SMS, or voice call), enter Receivers (email addresses or phone numbers - duplicates and invalid entries are rejected), a Subject (mail), and a Message |
A notification action can also include a Message on revert - a second message sent when the rule’s condition clears.
Each condition and action is created, edited, and deleted individually inside the form, with its own confirmation dialogs. On save: “Global rule successfully created”; if nothing changed, “No changes made”.
Managing global rules
Same toolbar pattern as the Local tab - Enable / Disable toggle, Edit, and Delete, each on a single selected rule.
