Managing rules
Both Automation tabs share the same toolbar, search, filtering, and refresh behaviour. This article covers the day-to-day operations and the rule status lifecycle.
Rule statuses
Every rule is in one of five statuses, shown with a fixed colour in the table and the Status filter:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enabled | The rule is armed and waiting for its conditions (green) |
| Disabled | The rule is switched off and will not execute (gray) |
| Active | The rule’s conditions are currently met - the action is in effect right now (yellow) |
| Overridden | The rule’s effect has been manually overridden, e.g. the output was changed by hand (orange-red) |
| Expired | The rule’s schedule or validity window has passed (red) |
Toolbar
| Icon | Action | Description |

 | Export to Excel | Exports the current table; disabled when the table is empty |
  | Enable / Disable | Toggles the selected rule between Enabled and Disabled |
 | Edit | Opens the selected rule in the full-screen form |
 | Delete | Removes the selected rule after confirmation |
 | Column settings | Choose which table columns are visible - Status and Name are always shown |
The toolbar search box filters the table as you type.
Sidebar filters

| Status | Both tabs | Shows each status with a count and a colour dot |
| Location | Local tab only | Searchable, hierarchical location tree; selecting a parent selects its children |
Filter selections persist per tab across sessions, and the collapsed/expanded state of each filter group is remembered. The sidebar’s clear-filters control resets them.
Footer counters
The footer shows the Total rule count, plus a Filtered count whenever a filter or search is active.
Auto-refresh
The rule list refreshes from the server roughly every 10 seconds while the tab is open. Refreshing pauses while a create or edit form is open - unsaved work is never disturbed - and resumes when the form closes.
