Cameras

The Cameras view lists all IP surveillance cameras connected to Supracontrol through a video server. It provides live thumbnail previews, stream configuration details, recording trigger summaries, and licence status for each camera.

Grid columns

ColumnDescription
NameThe camera’s display name. Clicking the name opens the camera’s web interface in a new browser tab
StatusEnabled, Disabled, or Stopped - see Camera status below
NetworkGreen or red dot indicating whether the camera is currently reachable on the network
LiveA live thumbnail preview of the camera’s stream. Shows an offline indicator when the stream is unavailable
DescriptionOptional notes, or a dash when empty
LocationThe location this camera is assigned to
ManufacturerThe camera hardware brand
Video ServerThe video management system this camera streams through
ModelThe camera hardware model
Recording modeHD or SD badge - the active recording stream
HD / SD settingsPer-stream resolution, bitrate, FPS, keyframe interval, and quality
SilentA mute icon is shown when the camera is in silent mode
LicenceLicence validity: Active, Trial, Paused, Expired, Inactive, or Unpaired
RecordingHover to see a popover listing all active recording triggers configured for this camera
Last seen / CreatedTimestamps

Camera status

StatusMeaning
EnabledThe camera has a valid licence and is enabled
DisabledThe camera has a valid licence but has been manually disabled
StoppedThe camera’s licence is invalid or has expired

The Network indicator (green/red dot) is independent of camera status and reflects real-time network reachability.

Recording triggers popover

Hover over a camera’s Recording cell to see a summary of its recording triggers:

Trigger details are loaded on demand when you hover over the cell.
