Cameras
The Cameras view lists all IP surveillance cameras connected to Supracontrol through a video server. It provides live thumbnail previews, stream configuration details, recording trigger summaries, and licence status for each camera.

Grid columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The camera’s display name. Clicking the name opens the camera’s web interface in a new browser tab |
| Status | Enabled, Disabled, or Stopped - see Camera status below |
| Network | Green or red dot indicating whether the camera is currently reachable on the network |
| Live | A live thumbnail preview of the camera’s stream. Shows an offline indicator when the stream is unavailable |
| Description | Optional notes, or a dash when empty |
| Location | The location this camera is assigned to |
| Manufacturer | The camera hardware brand |
| Video Server | The video management system this camera streams through |
| Model | The camera hardware model |
| Recording mode | HD or SD badge - the active recording stream |
| HD / SD settings | Per-stream resolution, bitrate, FPS, keyframe interval, and quality |
| Silent | A mute icon is shown when the camera is in silent mode |
| Licence | Licence validity: Active, Trial, Paused, Expired, Inactive, or Unpaired |
| Recording | Hover to see a popover listing all active recording triggers configured for this camera |
| Last seen / Created | Timestamps |
Camera status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enabled | The camera has a valid licence and is enabled |
| Disabled | The camera has a valid licence but has been manually disabled |
| Stopped | The camera’s licence is invalid or has expired |
The Network indicator (green/red dot) is independent of camera status and reflects real-time network reachability.
Recording triggers popover
Hover over a camera’s Recording cell to see a summary of its recording triggers:
- Continuous - records at all times on a defined schedule
- Motion - recording triggered by the camera’s motion detector
- Line-crossing - recording triggered when an object crosses a defined virtual line
- System (alarm) - recording triggered by alarm events from Supracontrol sensors
Trigger details are loaded on demand when you hover over the cell.

Filtering
The filter drawer for Cameras supports:
- Location - hierarchical tree, multi-select
- Network status - Online or Offline
- Camera status - Enabled, Disabled, or Stopped
- Associated locations - locations observed by the cameras, hierarchical tree
Filter selections are saved in your browser and restored on your next session.
