Peripheral Settings

The Peripheral Settings dialog is the main configuration interface for individual sensors. Its content adapts to the sensor type selected. All peripheral types share a General section; the remaining settings are type-specific.

Path: Devices → Peripherals → select a peripheral → Settings

General settings (all types)

Reader settings

Available for sensors of type Reader.

Auth typeAuthentication method: Card, PIN, Card + PIN, or similar

Lock settings

Available for sensors of type Lock.

Lock typeFail Safe - unlocks on power loss. Fail Secure - stays locked on power loss
VoltageOperating voltage: 12 V or 24 V
Unsecure modeWhen enabled, holds the lock in the unsecured (open) state
Lock-sense pairingLinks this lock to a door contact (lock-sense) sensor for combined door and lock monitoring

Analog sensor settings

Available for Analog sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, and similar).

Range standardThe environment standard used to interpret readings and determine alarm thresholds
High borderUpper threshold - readings above this value trigger an alarm
Low borderLower threshold - readings below this value trigger an alarm
HysteresisDeadband around the threshold to prevent alarm flickering near the boundary

Analog input settings

Available for sensors of type Analog Input.

Linear scalingMinimum and maximum values for mapping the raw electrical signal to an engineering unit
ConversionThe unit or conversion formula applied to the scaled value

Digital sensor settings

Available for Digital sensors (inputs, outputs, doors).

Input invertedFlip the logical state of the input (active-high ↔ active-low)
Label On / Label OffCustom display labels for the two states - e.g. “Open” / “Closed”
Hold delayMinimum time the input must remain active before it is registered as a state change
Alarm delayTime after threshold crossing before an alarm is generated

Air quality (IAQ) settings

Available for Indoor Air Quality sensors.

Environment standardThe standard used to interpret gas concentration thresholds
ThresholdsHigh and low borders for each measured parameter (CO2, TVOC, etc.)

Tilt sensor settings

Available for Tilt sensors.

Modbus sensor settings

Available for sensors added to Modbus controllers.

Bulk editing

When multiple peripherals of the same type are selected, the type-specific settings dialog opens with an Apply to all checkbox. Enable the checkbox and click Save to apply the changes to all selected peripherals. A confirmation dialog appears before the bulk update is submitted.

When peripherals of different types are selected, only a Location picker is shown.
